What is Vedic astrology?

Vedic astrology, or Jyotisha, is an ancient system from India that maps the positions of the planets and stars at the moment of your birth. Rooted in thousands of years of tradition, it uses the sidereal zodiac, aligned with the actual positions of the constellations, rather than the tropical zodiac used in Western astrology. The result is a deeply rich and nuanced map of your life.

 

At its heart, Vedic astrology is about timing and cycles. It reveals the patterns and themes that shape different areas of your life, and the timing of when those influences are most present. Think of it as a map of possibility, illuminating the path ahead with greater awareness and intention.

A Bit About Me

I'm Dana Varcoe, a certified Vedic astrologer with a Master of Arts in Jyotisha. I spent more than 20 years in banking and fintech, bringing structure, curiosity, and an analytical eye to everything I do. At the same time, I believe a reading should feel like a real conversation. My goal is to leave you with clarity, deeper self-understanding, and something that resonates long after our session.
